The famous fountain of Ain Fouara where all people come to drink of its fresh water. It is almost a place of pelerinage.


Sétif preserves some vestiges of old Sitifis (capital of Mauritania Sétifienne) of IIIème century: ramparts, basilicas, ancient circus IV 2nd century.

The Necropolis Eastern of Sitifis (Sétif, Algeria) - Description of 352 tombs of the necropolis Roman; deposits spreading out since the creation of the city under Nerva until the end of antiquity.


L'Aoud S'tif or Horse of Sétif : is Hédrégi which, since its creation has escaped with any crossing. It is high in the area of Sétif, old capital of Jugurtha, always so pure then in 323 before Jesus Christ.

The town of Sétif is twinned with the town of Rennes (France)
